Success with my first IF...


FINALLY!!!  I broke my stall!!! That 226.4 that held on for a week has been broken!!! I was 125.2 this morning!!!

So yesterday I did my first IF. I learned something about myself in doing so.  Most of this is in IN MY HEAD!!!  I stressed out about the thought of not having my coffee first thing in the AM, "I am going to get a massive headache if I don't drink my BPC!!!" "I am going to be STARVING by 10:00 AM" "I am NOT going to be able to do this!!!"  These are the thoughts of a food addict.  It's all about the food.

Do you see my self talk??? It's TERRIBLE!!!  I did NOT get a headache, I did NOT starve and I COULD and DID do it.  I even went past my planned 10:00 to about noon.  Yes, I was very hungry by that point...but I filled up really fast.

I woke up and tried to keep my mind occupied.  I won't say it was easy.  Breaking habits is NEVER easy...but it was worth it.  At 9:00 AM I went to the Farmer's Market and picked up some quality meat, then I went to yet another Farmer's market and picked up some fresh mushrooms, peppers and pastured pork.

By the time I came home I was really hungry and I had my coffee and some chicken hearts (that I scored at the Farmer's Market)...delish!!!

Funny thing...it was cool out yesterday and when I was running around at the Farmer's Market...I felt heat and I couldn't help but think that I was burning stored fat...and that thought made me very happy.

Today, I plan on going to an outdoor event.  My son in law is playing in 2 bands and I am going to see my daughter and to watch him play.  Hoping to get some walking in. #KetoOn
